Waiver enforceability in the UK, by nation
The UK is different from the US. Under the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015, a business cannot exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence, so a US-style release of injury claims is not enforceable anywhere in the UK. The document still has real value as an informed-consent and assumption-of-inherent-risk record. Pick your nation for the details. General information, not legal advice.
