Are liability waivers enforceable in Northern Territory?

The Northern Territory generally gives effect to a clearly written, conspicuous release signed by an adult, supported by the recreational-services provisions of the Australian Consumer Law. Reported case law is limited, so genuine notice and plain language do most of the work.

A release cannot excuse reckless conduct, and a parent cannot waive a child's claim. With little local precedent, use activity-specific wording, treat a minor's form as consent, and keep insurance and safety practices as the main protection.
